When Peace Like A River...

Sometimes life is hard. We give all we are, all we have. We do the right thing, to the best of our ability and still, it seems, everything goes wrong. Our peace disappears, as we focus on the waves around us. Like Peter walking on the water, we take our eyes off of Jesus and fear consumes us, rendering us helpless.

Today I invite you to lift your eyes again, to the One who walks on the waves toward you. If you keep your eyes on Him, the waves will lose their power. In His gaze you will discover that it is well, with your soul.
